My understanding is new variants are more infectious. Shouldn't we be tightening mask requirements (especially indoors) rather than relaxing them?

Many COVID long-haulers were only mildly sick with COVID. Is it too early to tell if vaccinated people are 100% immune from getting long COVID, or have there been some breakthrough cases of long COVID?

My concern is, how can stores tell the difference between someone who is fully vaxxed and an antivaxxer who didn't want to wear a mask in the first place?
