Biden said he would send aid to help rebuild Gaza after Israeli airstrikes. But wait, didn’t the U.S. help pay for those bombs? In this #minirant @MehdiRHasan argues we wouldn't need to spend so much on aid for Gaza if we didn’t spend so much on arms for Israel. Start the clock!

You’re missing the point - it’s not the buildings that Israel is after. After each bombing campaign there are more dead and more traumatized Palestinians - The US companies sell more bombs using US taxpayers money to pay for them and Israel slowly decimates the Palestinian nation
That is exactly true. Defense stocks go up, investors are happy yet people are dead, and families are displaced. Poignant! Tell me who exactly wins here?
Same goes for Saudi-Yemen war

@mehdirhasan, your work is always mind-blowing. Thank you so much.
Hmmm, I wonder why there is so much violence. So confusing, so difficult to understand. If only there was a way to see what people in Gaza were thinking? 🤔💭💡👇👇
On the other hand, Iran paid for the three thousand missiles Hamas fired at Israel. Saudi had given half a billion dollars to Hamas over the past 15 0r so years. It's a vicious little world.
You're doing what's right. Keep it up!
