Derek Chauvin’s defense began with an expert saying he used “reasonable” force kneeling on George Floyd’s neck. That expert testified for the cop who killed Laquan McDonald, @OakCliffLawyer notes: “If you pay his hourly fee, he will show up at a case and defend a police officer.”

That's what experts do. However as they say, "Even the experts can get it wrong " In my view tho. You can usually find an "expert" opinion to back up both sides of an argument. Whether the "experts" are credible is an entirely different matter. Peer reviewed opinions please.

defense should take a healthy male, cuff him, lay him on the ground, put a knee on his shoulder blade for 9 minutes, then stand him up. he would be perfectly fine and case would be over.
Who to believe? This defense hack or the lieutenant that testifying saying Chauvin acted outside of policy?
