Republicans are going nuts over “vaccine passports,” but “some of the rhetoric maybe doesn't match the situation that we are faced with,” @Ratcliff_K tells @mehdirhasan: You need a “vaccination record to send your kids to school or to travel…this is not a Big Brother situation.”

How are employers permitted under HIPAA to require information on vaccination status of their employees without freely granted written authorization? Vaccination passports could be required for international travel, like the yellow international certificate of vaccinations.
I'm fine with needing proof of vaccine to enter a country you are not a citizen of. Requiring a code to scan to live your daily life is indeed dystopian govt overreach. We can talk again in a few years when long term effects of these vaccines are known.
If we had a single payer system the records would already be in a database. 🤷‍♀️ Hence the developed nations are easily able to make this happen.
A lot of other countries are considering COVID vaccine passports, so I guess they won't be traveling to those countries... A number of African countries have required proof of yellow fever vaccinations for years.

I can't get your show to stream live on Peacock. Is it only available as a paid subscription?
Why do the American left always let the Republicans set the agenda. Keep reacting to what they say and do every day.
