It’s not as if Americans aren’t getting health care help out of the stimulus: an estimated $35B in payments to cover COBRA costs for the jobless. But why not use that money, @MehdiRHasan asks the White House, to more efficiently invest in universal health care for everyone?

Biden admin gaslighting progressives: "We're probably saying close to the same thing." Mehdi: No we're not... #M4A
That is not congruent with health insurance greed policy

At the least, ensure that the unemployed can roll onto ACA, or change Medicare eligibility to allow the unemployed to use it until they have something else. I don’t really get the COBRA thing - seems like ACA would be more cost effective.
I like how you think, Mehdi. Rationally, intelligently, fearlessly. Thanks.

"Smile at them with your lips, and curse them in your heart"..................???
Good job I'm not letting this guy off the hook with his BS centrist talking points. Hopefully they'll deliver on pushing through the agenda with Republican obstruction. I have my doubts, but we'll see. Regardless, we need to keep pushing for progressive policies.
