"Put your signature on the [Covid] check," @StephanieKelton tells Biden & Dems. "Make it clear that voting for Democrats had material and immediate positive benefits to millions of people," while "the Republican Party is the ostrich party. They stuck their heads in the sand."

Democrats - The Party of Public Service Republicons - The Party of Self-Service
Not sure I agree. Ezra Klein wrote about work by Prof. Nicholson of U of Ga., showing that a pol's name on legislation made it less popular. A generic check from the US Treasury might get more support than a check from a pol that half of us dislike. nytimes.com/2021/03/04/opini…

It’s an ego thing for @JoeBiden. Just get people the money.

I disagree completely: should have held their feet to the fire instead of asking them to take credit for milquetoast compromises

#Absolutely. If the dems don't tell the people that the good came from them and the reps tried to prevent it, the reps are not above claiming that they did it. Dems in every state should have billboards with who they are & what they did. Reps are already taking credit. #Basics
No, that money is from American people to American people. President Biden understands that it is not his money, you should too
Signing check not necessary. But Biden should send every American a letter from the President outlining the key ways this bill will enhance their lives, and telling them how to seek out more information to ensure that they receive all of the benefits they deserve.

How about this - checks to people with 2 blue senators are not signed by Biden, while checks to people with 1-2 red senators are signed "your senator voted against you receiving this check. ~ Joe Biden"
Don't put ur signature name on those checks. Dumb conversation.
Or Dems can just message better and constantly remind Americans that while they were passing COVID Relief bills for struggling families the GOP were mostly caring about Dr. Seuss estate deciding to no longer publish their own small handful of unpopular racist books
