Low-wage workers and @RevDrBarber lobbied Joe Manchin yesterday for a $15 minimum wage. "It was an interesting meeting," the reverend tells @mehdirhasan. "We had to correct certain facts. But he did come away, I think, recognizing that these people are not going anywhere."

Biden/Kamila will not help the working class. You needed Trump for that. But look on the bright side, you don’t have those awful tweets no more. It won’t be long till things get so bad you will remember 2020 and wish Trump was still President.
Pretty much everyone who is against the $15 minimum wage doesn’t understand that the plan is to get there gradually so that the impact to businesses is minimized. They would also give tax credits to small businesses to help offset. Manchin is an idiot. #MinimumWage
Ted Cruz can spend $300 a nite at a hotel but the richest country in the world cant pay their workers a decent wage.
As nutty as Arizona is, Flagstaff already is $15.00 an hour and Maricopa County (Phoenix) is on track to get there in a couple years. There's no reason why we cannot get this done as a country.

You need to get the People of #WestVirginia involved. They are one of the poorest States in the Country yet Manchin doesn’t seem to really care and represent his Constituents

Has the senator talked to his constituents?
Put a payment to employers that goes away after 3 yrs to boost to 15. Get it through the Senate Covid bill. Use the tools to get it now. 15 can be done on reconciliation if the money to employers phases out. Use the tools and the mind to be creative.

Doesn't he know that West Virginia is the 3rd poorest state in the union?
Manchin who is paid $174K + healthcare, pension & allowances thinks $23K is a fair wage. What crap🤮
