This is important to say and I applaud it. In fact, let’s talk about what Democrats do when their members are accused of impropriety... just ask Al Franken. Generally, they deal with it (at least in the 21st century).

Unfortunately, there is also no left equivalent of scorched-earth, no-compromise-with-the-enemy McConnell. So nothing important will get done, and the Dems will lose in 2022, and then nothing at all will get done. Playing nice doesn't work if the other side won't.
