For the first time, a sitting president may be impeached for the second time. The articles are ready for members of Congress to hold a vote. "Most of us are still here in DC waiting to act," says @IlhanMN. "I think Monday is a little too late for us to start this process."

Members of Congress felt real terror this week, but @IlhanMN "lived with fear for my life for the last two years" thanks to Trump's rhetoric. There must be consequences: "It is important for us to remember that what we do today will matter for the rest of this nation's history."

*Now* Trump is banned? @IlhanMN asked Twitter CEO @Jack take action back "when the president was inciting violence against my life." But it took... all this. The lesson: "Listen to the voices that are calling for us not to be complacent when it matters and before it is too late."

If she can’t handle pressure, she should resign. Violence isn’t the answer but we will not stop until the homewrecker w$ore is removed from office. We now have a new younger generation who will see this through.
The proud boys, white supremacists, and white militia are not good people. The majority of Trump supporters fit in these three groups. Good people do not support racism and violence against anyone who is different. Trump supporters in action cnn.com/videos/us/2021/01/09…
I used to watch this Mehdi Hassan guy on AL Jazeera. Quick witted, take no prisoners, fool me not journalist.
I've said this before and I'll say it again: no one who has been paying attention was surprised by what happened two days ago. Conservative rhetoric has been steadily becoming more violent for over 20 years now, and each failure to hold them accountable has emboldened them.

They felt 0.000001% of the terror the inflicted on the people of the world. It was awesome watching all the sewer rat senators cower in fear for but a moment.
