“We are in a national emergency,” says @RBReich, blasting the Covid relief bill. “How are people possibly going to survive on $600 over the next 3 or 4 months? I don’t know. I don’t understand the mathematics,” says the esteemed labor economist. “The priorities are bizarre.”

.@RBReich worries that a worse authoritarian than Trump is possible: Stagnant wages and GOP obstructionism are an "ongoing invitation for demagogues to come along and persuade people that their real enemies are foreigners, are immigrants, are Black people, are brown people."

It's for food. Bring your own cardboard box. Or maybe it's to pay for incineration after death by #COVID. Really, the Republican agenda is for desperate people to starve, to be eliminated. The Democratic agenda is to get what they can and absolve themselves of the deaths.
Bizarre priorities
By putting an end to the false science and letting people go BACK to work. Socialism DOES NOT WORK. A nanny state where everyone is given a hand out can not be sustained financially.
"You can't do world hegemony and take care of your own citizens at the same time. Those are incompatible goals so a country can choose one or the other."
"esteemed" 😂 Is that esteemed like a Cleveland steamer?
