In 2016, "We were told that we need to reach out to understand" Trump voters, says @WajahatAli. "I have not heard... anybody say, 'Hey Trump voters, reach out to 80 million of your fellow Americans and please understand *their* frustrations and why they voted for Joe Biden.'"

"It's bad-faith actors who always demand civility but give cruelty," @WajahatAli says of conservative critics trying to cancel him. "I want them to have health care. I want them to have jobs... They need me to suffer to feel great again. And that's the difference."

TRUTH. I'm fed-up to the puking-point, with centrists' perpetual complicity in a putrid double-standard. Right-wing Dems answer Republicans' unbridled savagery, by reaching PAST THE VICTIMS to offer pretentious magnanimity to the victimizers. Forgiveness isn't theirs to offer.
NO ONE ASKED ABOUT OUR FEELINGS IN 2016! I’m sick to death of worrying about the trump supporters feelings about ANYTHING. They really are “the uneducated”. How many will be ok without SS & Medicare? Voting against your own interests is stupid.
Replying to @MehdiHasanShow
@WajahatAli is exactly right.

Wow! Succinct and a bullseye.
Exactly! I tried for 3 years to understand why and how they continue to support Trump. I can't and refuse to try anymore. The world is changing, becoming more diverse and it's not my job to hold their hand and tell them it's going to be okay.
