In 2016, "We were told that we need to reach out to understand" Trump voters, says @WajahatAli. "I have not heard... anybody say, 'Hey Trump voters, reach out to 80 million of your fellow Americans and please understand *their* frustrations and why they voted for Joe Biden.'"

"It's bad-faith actors who always demand civility but give cruelty," @WajahatAli says of conservative critics trying to cancel him. "I want them to have health care. I want them to have jobs... They need me to suffer to feel great again. And that's the difference."

I agree with your assessment, but Trump voters DGAF about anyone but Trump voters. I really think the mainstream media is researching the question why would *anyone* vote for tRump? They know why people vote for Biden. They don’t see that as worthy of investigation.

Of course not just like Congress it's not a two way street. If you are in charge the GOP will yell for fairness and helping the other side but when the GOP is in charge it's F your feelings we won we are in charge.
THIS! They are never encouraged to listen to us or to understand our POV.
Because the election was Ds to lose. Trump left the economy in tatters and couldn’t get control of COVID. Ds won’t flip the Senate and they lost seats in the House. Ds need to understand why that happened, not the other way around.

My side won, I'm not reaching out to Jack Schitt. I've seen Trump voters and the cut of their jib for the last four years and it's more than enough
