Would economist @paulkrugman back Elizabeth Warren as Biden's treasury secretary? "It would certainly be important and symbolic," he says, "and I'm a huge admirer." But there are lots of good candidates in the mix, he adds: "I'm not worried about that particular appointment."

"Calling yourself a socialist when you actually aren't... that's a little bit of self-indulgence," says @paulkrugman. However, he adds, "I think it should be okay to say 'I'm for Medicare for All,'" and moderate Democrats "are laying too much blame" on the party's progressives.

Trying to manipulate Biden’s Cabinet picks to satisfy factions within the Democratic Party defeats the entire purpose of electing a president. No one wanted Trump turning the WH into a game show so we shouldn’t want that from Biden either.

Neoliberals will get their way. It's the way of the dying world.
Not on your life with a GOP governor.

We can’t afford to lose Warren’s seat now without a clear majority in the senate, depending on the results of the GA run-off. The GOP Mass Governor has the right to appoint a replacement for the rest of her term and, surely, he’d name another republican.
As usual, he used a whole lot of words to say absolutely nothing. That man is a mouse in a man's shell. Yuck!
