Who keeps putting their remixes into content ID Isn't that something you could get into legal trouble for because they don't own the rights to it

Cover songs are eligible for Content ID. YouTube has a display bug that shows the *cover song* it uses to identify the underlying songs. Part of our job remains resolving claims on acceptable usages. We recommend planning videos more than a few days in advance.
