I'm still upset about Materia Collective swooping in and securing the rights to the Pizza Tower OST the SECOND it becomes popular and now fans can't make lyrical covers. And the worst part is that the powers at be just bury their heads in the sand when people rightfully complain

I'm sorry if I come off as ranting, but I've heard people like @RecDTRH say they'd like to do covers for YEARS if it weren't for Materia Collective. And it's even more distressing that they've done NOTHING to solve the Deltarune/Undertale problem. Or at least it seems.

How do we know they won't do this with games like Antonblast? Or any other game that gets popular? "Sorry. You can't play ANY of that music ANYWHERE cuz it's OURS now." I'm so tired of being ignored and brushed aside cuz they know it won't ever effect the people in charge...

We love covers--after all, members of our team are responsible for making VGM cover licensing a reality. We do provide licensing options for derivative works and other fan content. That means revenue sharing, which ensures composers get paid. Our email inboxes are always open.
