Please consider exempting this from Content ID for any usage (like Toby Fox & Lena Raine have) - even with the dispute system, risking strikes & termination is stressful and discourages people from making videos, and game OSTs are an important part of the creator ecosystem

You're right, that's our goal, and we try. We have spent the last 7+ years manually reviewing millions of videos, and trying to establish better YouTube policies to prevent Let's Plays, gameplay footage, and other use of game soundtrack usage from being claims/demonetized.

It's an imperfect system, and as one of the only music rights administrators in the space, we have limited resources when trying to improve YouTube policies. It's a work in progress, and feedback is welcome!

so then the music shouldn't be content ID if the owner of the game AND music himself is saying it shouldn't be copyrighted.
