And @MateriaColl does it once again I will have to stop making Undertale/DR content at this point, it's not economically viable for me to keep doing this

Is this even legal? Every time I get a Materia copyright claim it's NEVER from the original soundtrack, it's always an obscure remix version from a Materia related artist At this point I am convinced this is just a workaround at @tobyfox's blanket license @UnderTale @Fangamer

Hi Nyx, our email remains open for details, and we encourage you to reach out directly. Music rights on YouTube are complex, and @MateriaMusicPub helps resolve claims. YouTube is limited with policies and we spend hours every week revolving these things.

Music rights are a complex matrix of copyright & royalties. There are 100s of music companies who send metadata to YouTube, and many of these deliveries have bad info. EACH cover song from UNDERTALE has a different set of policies, of rights, per territory, per platform.

Part of our responsibility as a music publisher and rights administrator, for some incredibly complex rights, is overriding other companies' claims and freeing valid uses (Lets Plays, etc.) It's as complex, difficult, arduous, and unrewarding as it is important.

So: If YouTube claimed something it shouldn't, dispute it, email info@materiamusicpub.com. And, email your MCN and distributor and YouTube rep and push for sync/revenue share deals with content id and other fingerprinting DSPs and audio platforms.
