Materia team here, re: payout issues; we’ve been in a meeting all afternoon to make a plan. We didn’t realize just how widespread this was; that’s on us. We’ve been treading water a long time with our reporting/accounting tools; we grew too fast for our team to keep up.

We don’t have the perfect solution yet, but we’re working on both short-term and long-term ways to get money in artists’ hands ASAP. We will be sharing more information as the plan comes together, as transparently and openly as possible. Apologies aren’t enough; action is.

I have a huge respect to Materia as a VGMusic community, but as a label I think lack of communication has been an issue for years by now. I didn't received any answers to my music payments in almost 2 years. It's sad
