This is a good approach, but is there any reason to not use Youtube's revenue split feature?

I can look into it but as far as I know there isn't a revenue split tool in the content ID claims? It's done automatically. This could be a new thing though

If I am honest I dont know how it works exactly, but labels like @MateriaColl use it to share earnings on claimed videos instead of fully claiming it.
