As a composer, I think that is a daft idea. You can spoil so much with cue/track titles and the music itself if you listen to the ost before experiencing the medium. Loving the enthusiasm though!

Oh, sure thing. Here's the reasoning: music's best purpose outside its initial context is as a marketing tool. That's best exploited in advance of the context's medium. Secondarily, there are additional protections for music rights if released in advance of the sync
