Final Fantasy 9. Soundtrack is so slept on compared to other soundtracks in the series, maybe its just nostalgia but i still like it tbh

also surprised no one has mentioned Super Mario Galaxy. maybe not #1, but those tunes were perfect for the atmosphere of the game imho

Sim City 3000 ! Innovative, risky, diverse, and with a relatively static game underneath. Yet somehow it's perfectly balanced and well composed.
