If there was, hypothetically, a vinyl pressing, what toppings would you prefer

It's an imperfect system, and as one of the only music rights administrators in the space, we have limited resources when trying to improve YouTube policies. It's a work in progress, and feedback is welcome!

You're right, that's our goal, and we try. We have spent the last 7+ years manually reviewing millions of videos, and trying to establish better YouTube policies to prevent Let's Plays, gameplay footage, and other use of game soundtrack usage from being claims/demonetized.

We don't want claims on Let's Plays. To the extent we are able, we set policies to avoid claiming Let's Play videos, game footage, and other ok uses of the music. The system isn't perfect so if anything slips through, a member of our publishing team reviews disputes and claims.

Bummer. Pizza Tower is on the same trajectory as Undertale was 7 years ago, and licensed cover songs were life-changing for lots of vgm artists. Happy to chat licensing options or address any questions over at @MateriaMusicPub
