Can #COVID19 ever be completely eradicated? @Marks1Guy: It's unlikely we'll completely get rid of it, risk of return is high. We've been successful with other viruses, but the extent and spread of #coronavirus makes it unlikely without a vaccine. @NSWsensing #coronavirusaus

Can antibacterial wipes kill #COVID19? @MarylouiseMcla1: In theory yes, they're loaded with alcohol but none have been tested or approved for #coronavirus by the TGA yet. @PalliThordarson: Use them if you've nothing else, but soap and alcohol gel are your frontline defence.

Hoping it’s negative! Get well soon.
The most successful pandemic controls are built around past successes with similar diseases. @WHO recommends widespread testing, quarantine of cases, rigorous contact tracing, and effective social distancing. More- tinyurl.com/yxyxm6jd#COVID19… #coronavirusaustralia

Yes, but only looking back- not looking forward.
How is “modelling” most usefully applied during a pandemic? It’s probably best used to consider “worst case scenarios” and then plan for numbers of ICU beds, Protective equipment needed (PPEs), burials etc. tinyurl.com/yxyxm6jd

Keep it simple- if people aren’t in your family bubble, keep 2 metres apart. Shops need to create lines and coach people to comply. #ausbiz #auspol #coronavirusau #COVID19Aus
