Vaccinations not enough. “vaccinations have been highly effective at reducing severe disease & deaths, they are much less effective at reducing the risk of getting long COVID following COVID infections. Most effective way to avoid getting long COVID is not to get COVID.(Fig 1)

Re excess deaths: invited guests on ABC RN say the Oz death rate high now is because we didn't get the high death rates that elsewhere got earlier on - thus it's okay that our vulnerable are dying off now & it only looks bad because they didn't die earlier!
