Vaccinations not enough. “vaccinations have been highly effective at reducing severe disease & deaths, they are much less effective at reducing the risk of getting long COVID following COVID infections. Most effective way to avoid getting long COVID is not to get COVID.(Fig 1)

Clinicians & the public denied CFS/ME for decades and still have no effective treatment for it so I am pessimistic about the recognition of Long Covid. Those who discount the risk of long Covid have no idea the misery it will wreak on their health and wellbeing.
