Needs a govt which believes in science !

This is the most sobering set of numbers I've ever seen. It makes me want to cry.

The deaths to cases ratio is much lower, but it has been less than 2 weeks and severe illness lags behind initial infection. Also, the deaths per day figure is soooo much higher. Dare I say it? A small percentage of a very large number is still a very large number!!!

I feel as though all forms of Government have just given up with everything with the current pandemic. Decisions being made make no sense at all.
