4 of 3: Real leaders can be honest, here is what a real leader could say: case numbers & testing are important, COVID infects within minutes & travels more than 1.5m, long-covid is real & hospital numbers only part of story, gov can supply free RATs & better than PCR 3 days ago.

It is hard not to despair when Dan also seems to be not talking straight to his people

Talking with friends around the world. Some thought their Politicians & Health Care systems were poor. On hearing what's happening here - disbelief turns to immense empathy.

Thank you Dr McLaws. So good to hear a voice of sanity and decency in this dreadful health and political crisis.

Sadly leadership is not about being honest or noble or humanitarianism, it is about who will follow you. Murdoch, the churches, the rusted on right & the extreme right are looking for what Morrison & Perrottet have on offer. Neoliberalism has hijacked public health.

Wow. Spot on Mary-Louise! Can't understand why governments are not taking your advice, knowledge and expertise .... instead of this seeming to be all about politics and the economy. I personally am aware of a lady who has long covid and it is not a good thing to get.

I’ve read some research from @DrEricDing that it’s advisable to swab the back of the throat when doing a RAT. Would you agree with this @MarylouiseMcla1 ?
