1 of 3: When gov made changes to testing, I estimate 2 year cost may have reached $3.7bill for 54mill PCR tests (at possible 50% priv & pub path). To reduce $ test hubs could use PCR on those with symptoms & rapid antigen test (RATs) on all others. Cheaper but still effective.

Anyone who claims to be concerned about #ClimateCrisis , yet thinks single use plastic intensive testing is the best path out of covid is simply an idiot.

I would like governments both state and national to explain to the Australian people the rationale behind their current covid policy which is not supported by health/ science and is inflicting and will continue to inflict so much pain on us all.

Bingo re test hubs. Surely everyone - OTHER THAN those with obvious symptoms - should get a RAT before PCR. Anything other than strong neg, they stay for the PCR. Strong neg = go home ! Why is this not the bleeding obvious ??

POE workers however still require PCR for weekly routine testing. They need to be considered exceptions.

Can people be simultaneously be infected with Delta & Omicron? What is the likelihood of a new variant emerging from this? Would the new variant likely be far more infectious & deadly or less? We currently are seeing both side by side in Hospital & ICU Wards at the same time.

If only States didn't drive the Covid fear factor and lockdown their borders completely. If only people used their brains instead of plugging in to the nightly 6PM MSM news. 94% of the Aust population is vaccinated. Many more are naturally vaxxed through actual virus exposure.
Excellent idea. Saves money, helps public, helps Government too. Win win win. @Dom_Perrottet @BradHazzard @normanswan
