Boosters at 4mths (Jan 4),3mths (end Jan) should now be prioritised for those with 2 doses of AZ (after 4 months v.low protection against Omicron). International positive cases now match when India ban was imposed. Travellers need booster & rapid antigen test on arrival to Aus

The trouble is will the politicians listen. It's all very well but 2 doses of AZ don't cut it especially if given much closer together than 12 weeks. My daughter is Sydney is on this situation and she is quite sick. Recipients of AZ should be prioritized

Does Pfizer offer better protection against Omicron the same length of time after the 2nd dose?

Absolutely Mary please keep shouting this to anyone that will listen! My parents now very vulnerable so we’ve been RAT testing in the lead up to today & will just have an outdoor Christmas with 6 of us. It’s crazy that we’ve left our over 60’s that had AZ now so unprotected 🤦‍♀️

R U making things up as U go? Why do all roads lead to vaccines & boosters when there’s treatments that work & R much safer…No science behind what you said on the project today, stop spreading fear! Just stop it, maybe be honest for once or do you just not know?

Vaccins are obsolete. Enough promoting something that will do so little and cost so much. Who are you representing? Have you got any conflict of interests? This awful propaganda of ineffective and not so rare side effects vaccines must stop. Change the strategy, ain’t working.

AZ ppl face unique and obv risks. An employee who feels coerced into physical attendance at work can justifiably claim their employer knew or ought to have known about the heightened risk. To cut the BS legalese, zero to minimal protection against omicron is unacceptable risk.
