Boosters at 4mths (Jan 4),3mths (end Jan) should now be prioritised for those with 2 doses of AZ (after 4 months v.low protection against Omicron). International positive cases now match when India ban was imposed. Travellers need booster & rapid antigen test on arrival to Aus

Thanks @MarylouiseMcla1 for your wise advice over the past two years. It seems like we mostly agree. A happy festive season to you. I'm off to Cairo for three weeks. Cheers. Mike.

Please can you substantiate your erroneous claim of very low protection with 2 doses of AZ. From what I'm reading there is high level of protection against serious disease & death. You need something to verify your claim.

I especially worry for my elderly AZ dosed parents who aren’t eligible for a booster till the end of Jan.

The dilemma for those with two doses of AZ is do they wait for a vaccine specific to Omicron or get a low efficacy booster. Deja vu after getting a low efficacy vaccine.
