I calculate just 30-35% of Australians have symptomatic protection from Omicron based on UK study & Australian data. Boosters 3 months after 2nd dose & free rapid antigen tests are essential. Everybody can reduce spread with masks & avoiding indoor crowds. assets.publishing.service.go…

Why is anyone listening to any of you geniuses any more? Just admit a novel pandemic virus is way beyond your pay grade and let us get through this come what may.

Considering the number of complete symptomatic breakthroughs being seen in groups who were prominently PZ vaxed, I think your calculations are very generous. All sympt positive. 3 boosted/8 dble vaxed.
Update 2: everyone at that party has now tested positive. Everyone symptomatic but not terrible. Cough, fevers and sore throat main symptoms
This is the statistic you just won’t hear from the PM or minister Hunt.

Thanks Mary louise for all your valuable input on our continued battle against covid19 and variants. We can all do more to limit the spread of this insidious disease.
Most Australians aren't ready for their Boosters yet anyways. No point banging on about that. Huge surge in vaccinations was September October.. so awhile yet. That is if the booster is easily available.

What will it take for Australian government to move the booster program forward?

I used a rapid test at school last Monday. I had very mild symptoms but it saved me possibly spreading covid to others Including my husband who has MND. Quite possibly a life saver.
