Omicron is associated with high ability to evade immunity from previous infection doi.org/10.1101/2021.11.11.2… & potentially vaccine immunity. Israeli experience with Delta showed immunity waned at 4-6months. With risk from Omicron circulating we should boost around 4mths after dose 2

At 6m now and couldn't get a booster until Jan. Several gps & pharm. advised they didn't have supply or even knew for sure what and when they were getting. Just my experience. Thanks for update MLM.

I'm of the same opinion. 4 months is (in my view) the "sweet spot" for a booster shot. Let's not let Australia's hard-won advantages in early suppression become dead fruit.

Older people are locked down as it’s not safe to go out into streets where masks aren’t worn. They were given Astra Zeneca now useless against Omicron. They should be given boosters immediately.
