Omicron is associated with high ability to evade immunity from previous infection doi.org/10.1101/2021.11.11.2… & potentially vaccine immunity. Israeli experience with Delta showed immunity waned at 4-6months. With risk from Omicron circulating we should boost around 4mths after dose 2

Mary Louise Isreal opened up at <65% sgl dose. this means 35% werent vaxed. they're still at 68% sgl dose. 32% unvaxed are the problem. in NSW we are over 93% DBL vaxed. only 7% unvaxed are the problem. we are nothing like Isreal.

Great, that’s exactly what I’m doing

There was a big UK study on 3rd doses last week. Did it have anything to say about time between 2nd and 3rd doses? I think 3rd doses were around 3 months if I was reading the writeups correctly.

Serious question. If the vaccine isn’t effective against Omicron then a booster will be useless won’t it? How long will it be before we know?

I can't understand why ATAGI hasn't changed their advice from 6 months.

Why won’t ATAGI see it that way. Makes perfect sense.

ATAGI needs to stump up and give a better reason for their decision.
And how long does the booster last? Wouldn`t it be better to have "Omicron arrive and booster just before"...
