I'm pretty certain you would have received some pretty toxic stuff due to your role. I just wanted to say thank you, you've been a sensible voice of authority, untainted by politics and I've appreciated you.

Convenient that there is now another wayward variant manifesting…it’s like the same bad script over and over…it’s getting very boring now!

Several anti-vaxxers have already come out to let us all know the answers to those questions, that we don’t need masks, or quarantine or vaccines & we should just all mingle together. But they are all nut jobs so thanks for your quiet expertise to help guide us. Very appreciated.

Politicians are already thinking this pandemic is over. It is not. We need 5 and vaccination started before school starts next year. Yes ATAGI needs to be cautious but time is soon. So kids can be covered before our winter. Even consider or investigate three doses in row

Precautionary and preemptive are the two vital principles. Waiting for evidence will always let the horses bolt never to be recaptured.

Much tighter vector controls than previously are necessary, but hotel quarantine still risks aerosol spread unless hotel ventilation is significant improved. Higher grade ppe also needed for hotel staff , treat common areas as infected premises.
