Omicron still not fully understood - is transmission faster, does it reduce vaccine efficacy, is it as hard to mitigate outbreaks Delta? Until +90% vacc coverage of total pop (not just +12yr) quarantine must be supervised for every traveller from every country. Test day-1, 4, 5.

Not the advice many would follow especially given vaccinated or not you still can be contagious. The less effective or actually ineffective vaccines will not matter in terms of spreading the virus. On the spot RAT for everyone without medical mandates is the better advice IMHO.
Now this is sensible, pragmatic science based advice But quess ... What about Hong Kong, Belgium ? Open slather except for 9 African countries ?

Is there any evidence that Omicron poses a threat to the public? Has anyone actually fallen ill or died as a result of being exposed to this variant?

Haven’t you tired on being wrong about everything else? This isn’t a novel virus anymore. At these high vax levels it insane to reinstitute mass hotel quarantine. We have so many stranded who have been unable to get back and others here who haven’t seen families for years.
