Kid vaccines prevent illness, spread & prevents rare complications - brain inflammation due to mumps 1 in 200 & 1 in 1000 due to measles; 1 death/year from rotavirus. Approx 20,000 kids 0-9 & 22,000 10-19yr had Delta in Vic & NSW. That's enough reason to COVID vacc 5-11 yr.

Hi Mary-Louise, as you are a Professor of Epidemiology I have a Q. We have two young children and my wife and I are double vacc. These vacc have a 10,000/1 chance of Bell's palsy. Chance of child hospitalization from Covid 50,000/1. Isn't the risk greater to vacc for the child?

Yes!! Thank you. Infected chn will bring illness home to vulnerable adults. Many chn are vulnerable themselves. Not to mention the poor teachers shut in a room with them 5 days/week!

@theprojecttv Please Please have the great Mary-Louise McLaws on rather that Dr. Nick Coatsworth. I'm sure that my family are amongst the thousands that admire her cool headed level advice during this pandemic. She truely is an inspiration. Thank you Mary-Louise

Awful conclusions. In 2020-2021 kids were not at risk. Why should they be in 2022? they don’t get sick with covid and those injection with unverified studies, using a the Wuhan strain are obsolete. Yet, side effects are indeed inflammation, myocarditis, pericarditis.. shame!

What are the expected rates of TTS, GBS and #Pfizercarditis in the vaccinated children? "One in a million" or "very rare"?

Two completely different sets of statistics (unrelated). What are the number of serious and rare complications of Covid for that age group?
Thank you 🙏🏻
