Kid vaccines prevent illness, spread & prevents rare complications - brain inflammation due to mumps 1 in 200 & 1 in 1000 due to measles; 1 death/year from rotavirus. Approx 20,000 kids 0-9 & 22,000 10-19yr had Delta in Vic & NSW. That's enough reason to COVID vacc 5-11 yr.

What am I missing? Why are @MCRI_for_kids @NCIRS @nick_coatsworth so adamant that it is ok for kids to get Covid, not encourage the vaccine to be approved ASAP & scare parents that there will be an adverse reaction to 1/3 of a dose. But yourself @drgregkelly and others disagree…

that is not enough reason at all. the pfizer trial for 5-11yo had just over 2200 kids & lost data of 4%. But hey, as FDA committee member Dr Rubin says "We're never gonna learn about how safe the vaccine is until we start giving it." 6:34:46 in the video. youtube.com/K4IsVePD8_c

McLaws is a fear mongering COVID zero fanatic More interested in being fawned over on morning news programs than behaving like an ethical scientist Her reputation is in the dumpster with serious scientists including epidemiologist, virologists & immunologists

Remember when McLaws predicted the end of time in NSW as Dom Perrottet opened up in a balanced manner? 🤔
NSW #COVID19 update – Tuesday 9 November 2021 In the 24-hour reporting period to 8pm last night: - 93.9% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine - 89.9% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine - 66,680 tests

No they didn't have it. They tested positive for it which is totally different and doesn't mean they were ill or even had an infection as the test is so flawed. How many kids died? How many seriously ill? How many kids being injured by the vaccine are you prepared to tolerate?

No evidence to show that Brain Fog and long term lung damage does not happen to vaccinated people. Science is eradication. Living with a virus that will only get better at doing Long Covid is an economic decision.

What is the data for health issues from cases in 5-11yo? What is the 1 in x stat?

Absolutely agree with the sentiment, but let's leave ATAGI to make a careful and considered decision on the risks and benefits.

Why are there such vastly different opinions on this topic? Well qualified people very clear in which camp they sit in. If covid is a mild illness in children are we vaccinating them to protect adults who don't vax?

What about the paediatricians daubing not enough evidence yet that benefits outweigh risks in Australia? It’s so confusing.
