Kid vaccines prevent illness, spread & prevents rare complications - brain inflammation due to mumps 1 in 200 & 1 in 1000 due to measles; 1 death/year from rotavirus. Approx 20,000 kids 0-9 & 22,000 10-19yr had Delta in Vic & NSW. That's enough reason to COVID vacc 5-11 yr.

My 96 year old father in law is profoundly deaf as a result of mumps when he was 7, before there was immunisation against mumps. He has led a fulfilling life however, he has never heard his Childrens, grandchildrens or great grandchildrens voices. That makes me sad.

There is no talk of prevention. The current settings, particularly in primary schools, are allowing mass infections. Why is this acceptable? I don't want my children to get this to see if they do get acutely sick or suffer longer term issues as a result.

Absolutely thank you! Schools in Vic & NSW are in chaos with these case numbers & parents now have no choice - send kids to school & risk catching Covid & bringing it home or you are on your own - no remote learning option available now. It鈥檚 such a shame after all our hard work.

Are you all crazy. 5-11yo are not dying from covid, yet they are having severe side effects due to the vaccine. I don't have young children, but if I did, they would not be getting vaccinated. Stop listening to MSM and investergate Since when have our politicians been trustworthy

How many died from covid. These vaccines are new technology. They are not proven to be safe and they do have serious side effects and death. Wake Up.

I had #measles as a child. No vaccine then or until I was a teenager. Recovered, fortunately no consequences except a small scar over my eyebrow. Now I'm susceptible to #shingles and am vaccinated for that. I wish there had been a #vaccine for measles when I was a child.

Can you please explain where those numbers are coming from? I'm not disputing them but they are not the figures being reported in the media - or released by NSW or Vic Health. NSW health today only reporting 196 cases?

You would have thought so, but apparently not. Suggesting that this is a good idea, an idea which the country should move to enact quickly, is somehow controversial.
