Kid vaccines prevent illness, spread & prevents rare complications - brain inflammation due to mumps 1 in 200 & 1 in 1000 due to measles; 1 death/year from rotavirus. Approx 20,000 kids 0-9 & 22,000 10-19yr had Delta in Vic & NSW. That's enough reason to COVID vacc 5-11 yr.

Some parents in Vic, NSW & ACT are trying to protect their children from being exposed/infected by covid in education settings. They鈥檝e been largely abandoned & labelled anxious for being concerned & taking action. Are you able to assist?

Yeh and how many were seriously ill or died? Innate immunity is all kids require against covid flu, leave them alone!! The CDC is quoted as saying the only way to test safety in kids is to start injecting them.... yeh great "science"

Totally agree, however just on @abcsydney in last hour an academic from Sydney Uni said that there are no jurisdictions in the world currently that have mandated vaccines for under 12 other than China and even 12-16 is optional in many. Interested to know your thoughts on this?

Can we have evidence based scientific comments? Let the TGA analyse the data to ensure safety & efficacy of these drugs for young children first! You cannot compare vaccines for different ailments, but if you must, then realise some vaccines are not suitable for young kids!

Just wrote a medical certificate for parents who want to keep their child under 12 at home as there are local schools outbreaks in Eastern Sydney private school- with inconsistent close contact criteria, worried as their child has a chronic condition, they want vaccinations ASAP!

The risk vs benefit does not favour vaccination with the experimental vaxes. Long term effects of mRNA vaccines are still unknown & the risk to children from C19 exceedingly minute. Side FX such as myocarditis are more common in young vaxed. You'll injure more than you'll help.

Kids don't exist separate from their families. The consequences of vaccination should have a broader focus which include families , education, mental health and social effects

This is why you鈥檙e my favourite epidemiologist. Always reasoned and logical. I鈥檓 old enough to remember when we didn鈥檛 vaccinate for chicken pox or cervical cancer. Why not protect our kids?
