Kid vaccines prevent illness, spread & prevents rare complications - brain inflammation due to mumps 1 in 200 & 1 in 1000 due to measles; 1 death/year from rotavirus. Approx 20,000 kids 0-9 & 22,000 10-19yr had Delta in Vic & NSW. That's enough reason to COVID vacc 5-11 yr.

What about some real numbers on the adverse effects? I know of several teenagers admitted to hospital for myocarditis which “enlarges and weakens the heart, creates scar tissue and forces it to work harder”. Not worth the risk. myocarditisfoundation.org/ab…

I currently teach 6 year olds. 5 out of 21 children in my class have just tested positive. We are now back to remote learning after having just returned to school. How I wish there was a vaccine, available for my little ones, to help prevent this.

Could you review this research paper - from Univ. of Calif. MD's. It seems to give pause to the rush to vaccinate kids. I'd be grateful for an expert opinion. medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

How many different pathogens do children contract in their normal/ active lives?? Are you suggesting that we force vaccination for ALL of those?? Get off the #GateRate and get some perspective. WHAT IS THE UPPER-LIMIT OF VACCINATION?? HOW MANY MORE VACCINES???

What - no valid study yet on risks of vaccines versus catching Covid in this age group unless you work for Pfizer and accept that less than 5000 is a valid sample size. It’s not about cases is it? Isn’t it about risk of serious complications or death? WTF

There is a real difference between a stats based medical view or an opinion based view. This falls into the latter

Since even FDA says they don’t know how safe this vax is for the kids I am not sure many parents will want to experiment on their own children. It’s wise to wait for more data. Remember: First do no harm !

Yeah as much as I agree with vaccinations I’m not sure we should be using Mary as our go to person for info

All of the other illnesses you have mentioned risks and impacts on kids. But you've not mentioned the risks and impacts of covid on kids. They in my view aren't substantial enough to justify vaccination
