Congratulations, this is a safe way to open up. Rapid antigen tests (RATs) have been available to us for months. Should be used to screen & safeguard our boundaries/borders, venues, schools & institutions. Best RATs match PCR, take 10-15mins & cheaper. abc.net.au/news/2021-09-03/w…

What’s your advice for the immunocompromised/disabled/chronic illnesses once we open up? The fear that masks/PPE/distancing/vax won’t be enough to keep us out of icu or death. The fear is real in our community that many feel our deaths will be acceptable as per Govt rhetoric.

It’s not really given they often don’t turn positive until late in an infection...you all need to pay more attention ...

Out of interest, if the best RATs match PCR, why have they yet to be used more widely here?

Amazes me that these are not being highly used here. Seems backwards. Oh Australia!

Why doesn’t every single citizen have access to buy these at the pharmacy??

I’d love to know your thoughts on planning for future variants / pandemics. It seems crazy to me that Sydney had a purpose built quarantine facility within walking distance of a hospital at North Head. While we may no longer arrive by ship, transfer by ferry would be possible.
