Congratulations, this is a safe way to open up. Rapid antigen tests (RATs) have been available to us for months. Should be used to screen & safeguard our boundaries/borders, venues, schools & institutions. Best RATs match PCR, take 10-15mins & cheaper. abc.net.au/news/2021-09-03/w…

It should be applied to everyone. Someone got test and waiting too long meanwhile they roam around without knowing they might be positive. That's why we always have community cases.

Thank you Prof. McLaws, your contributions (and those of Prof. Raina MacIntyre) are always about the Science, and never about the ugly politics. Some truck drivers ex NSW have arrived WA, parked their trucks, and caught taxis to a busy nightspot without masks. Police attended.

At $100 per PCR test, the Pathologists' River of Gold may now slow just a little ... Readying for AMA 'protest' on behalf of their pathology members.

I would add aged care homes to this list. There are still no real plans for nursing home outbreaks, other than send residents back home to their families

Why haven't we got these in use nationally as part of the fabled plan?
