"Can't live in lockdown forever" BUT DON'T SACRIFICE OUR YOUNG. Restrictions mustn't lift until young have vaccine access equity; they carry highest caseload yet lowest vaccination. Without vaccination, young will have highest caseload & therefore highest numbers in hospital.

Frydenberg’s refusal to reinstate jobkeeper is a deliberate attempt to help spread covid and force us to “live with the virus”. Without jobkeeper people are forced out to work where they pick up delta and bring it home to their families. It’s why cases in NSW are exploding.

Sorry.. but the purpose of vaccinating the vulnerable was to save many thousands of lives and make sure hospitals won’t get over run. Are you seriously saying there will be many deaths and hospitalisations in under 12’s?

This is madness. As we get closer to our goal of vaccinating the vulnerable age groups. Their is growing over the top hysteria about children.

You expect people to remain in lockdown until, what, mid next year? Restrictions will no doubt stay in place, but do you really expect everyone to live in lockdown for another 6-12 months?

School mitigation measures also work to reduce transmission but they do need to be implemented. Here is OS Delta data in kids.
Latest UK #COVID data: No increase in covid hospitalisations in children. No evidence of increased severity of Delta in children. ICU cases & deaths stabilising. assets.publishing.service.go…

There's a major problem lifting restrictions when some of the pop (incl kids) haven't been able to access the vaccine >also many ppl who are eligible can't get access, or only just got access to appt (5+wks away)

The term "live with" can mean very different things to different people. For me, it's reducing the morbidity and mortality rate, down to (or below) 'background' levels for many other diseases & risks we face as a society. You DON'T need to get to ZERO cases/day to achieve this!
