"Can't live in lockdown forever" BUT DON'T SACRIFICE OUR YOUNG. Restrictions mustn't lift until young have vaccine access equity; they carry highest caseload yet lowest vaccination. Without vaccination, young will have highest caseload & therefore highest numbers in hospital.

If equity is the goal, how is a vaccination campaign in children and adolescents, that will prevent close to zero deaths, an equitable use when the same vaccines have a hundred-fold or greater benefit in older adults? Or in other countries?

We seem to have a heap of AZ that apparently is all good now for those under 60, so there's a solution I guess.

Thank you so much Mary Louise. You have been a great voice of reason. I am a teacher and do not want illness for any of my students.
Are vaccines safe for small children under 6? Has much testing been done?

Their logical equation: Truth= Politics over Science.
Interesting data but poor visualization. The intended takeaway is that vaccinated people are being hospitalized at a much lower rate. But the visual suggests much higher hospitalizations of the older cohorts. Too many variables in a single chart is confusing.

According to your graph, despite the fact that 19 year old and under have the 2nd highest case load (approx 170 per 100,000), they have the lowest hospitalisation at approx 1% despite having the lowest rate of vaccination. Is that right?
Doctors used to be worried about 20-50 year olds in gross obesity and feeding on fat, sugar and salt? What changed? Suddenly!

70% of people over 15yo is only 55% of population. 70-80% of population required for effective herd immunity with low community infection level & low number of daily new cases. What about the other 45% & those with incomplete immunity after vaccination?
