"Can't live in lockdown forever" BUT DON'T SACRIFICE OUR YOUNG. Restrictions mustn't lift until young have vaccine access equity; they carry highest caseload yet lowest vaccination. Without vaccination, young will have highest caseload & therefore highest numbers in hospital.

Absolutely perfectly well said Prof @MarylouiseMcla1 - right on the mark. Please continue to advocate for this to happen. I can’t sit by & see them “sacrifice “ the kids for the economic gain &it’s disgusting. Thank so much for your service @ScottMorrisonMP please listen urgently

Did you even check this graph because a quick glance shows: ~3/100k, ~5% at least 1 jab in <19 end in hospital ~13/100k, ~80% at least 1 jab in 60+ end in hospital Clearly shows an aging population far more at risk. With kids having little to none.

This graph is weird. Is it saying that approx 1% of cases of people under 19 are hospitalised? And that there are approx 170 cases per 100,000 in the population under 19? So 1.7 hospitalised cases per 100,000 under 19 year olds?

*sacrifice the young*! For a desease far less harmful than road accidents, that exactly what we can call patent exaggeration

Theres a special place in hell for an “expert” who resorts to logical fallacy.

Let's get 12-17 yrs olds vaccinated asap (with the approved Pfizer vaccine). When the green light is given by health authorities then let's get 6-11 yr olds vaccinated. It's very concerning the number of covid cases in Sydney/NSW affecting under 12 yr olds (and 12-17 yr olds).

They also carry the lowest risk of serious illness or death. Society cannot continue to live under the most draconian restrictions in peacetime ever devised forever. Lockdown is only justifiable if the health system is at risk or mortality is unjustifiably high.

A voice of common sense. Thank you. Having lived through the constant easing and then reinforcing of lockdown in the UK for the past 18 months it’s so refreshing to hear someone with the knowledge of how it should be done.
