2/3 I calculated we need 68%min & preferably 80% of total pop to be vaccinated. Grattan Institute recommends "fully vaccinating 80% of all Australians, & 95% of the over-70s", to "give us the best chance of gradually returning to normal life – with open borders & no lockdowns".

3/3 NZ is targeting 78% of total population and Singapore is targeting 75% of total population. National Cabinet modelling must to be published for public review & for Australians to understand why Government targets are so low compared to estimated local and overseas targets.

There's the (VAERS, Yellow Card) evidence that these vaccines are the most dangerous medicines ever left on the market, & the emerging data that the vaccines aren't going to stop transmission. 80% of "doesn't work half the time" doesn't end lockdowns, doesn't end the pandemic.

Scotland has over 98% double jabbed for over 70’s & 100% of care home workers. It is the size of NSW with more cases but same ICU levels as NSW.

Mary-Louise, all of my family is vaccinated with AstraZeneca. I’ve received medical advice to get Pfizer due to specific, underlying health conditions, but Fed Govt denies me this right despite now giving it to 12-15 years old with underlying conditions. I’m 70.

The Grattan modelling suggests it is only okay to open up at 80% of the population if we eventually get to 90%. The modelling for R0=5 (most common estimate for Delta) and only reaching 80% with no further increases is a disaster. grattan.edu.au/wp-content/up…
