2/3 I calculated we need 68%min & preferably 80% of total pop to be vaccinated. Grattan Institute recommends "fully vaccinating 80% of all Australians, & 95% of the over-70s", to "give us the best chance of gradually returning to normal life – with open borders & no lockdowns".

3/3 NZ is targeting 78% of total population and Singapore is targeting 75% of total population. National Cabinet modelling must to be published for public review & for Australians to understand why Government targets are so low compared to estimated local and overseas targets.

So good that you are explaining as most would think that the % given by PM were for total population and don’t realise they don’t include kids under 16! 56% & 64% seem way too low even to my untrained eye!

In the UK do they count the immunity of people who aren't vaccinated but who have got Covid and survived. Does the UK have a higher effective immunity rate because so much of the population actually got Covid?

Why does Morrison like to tell lies about the % of Vaccinated Australian Public we need to be at before we even think about getting back to some normality, the % of people needs to be at least over 80% closer to 90% & include children over 12yo according to the Experts.

BREAKING - the German “ATAGI” raised the bars for herd immunity. 12-59 85% - 60+ 90% because of Delta. We need a REAL plan and confirmed deliveries and not horizons 👊👊👊

Thanks Mary - absolutely agree with you - we need the modelling released as I have a feeling the lower targets set may have something to do with Treasury’s input rather than the health advice 🙄
