2/3 I calculated we need 68%min & preferably 80% of total pop to be vaccinated. Grattan Institute recommends "fully vaccinating 80% of all Australians, & 95% of the over-70s", to "give us the best chance of gradually returning to normal life – with open borders & no lockdowns".

3/3 NZ is targeting 78% of total population and Singapore is targeting 75% of total population. National Cabinet modelling must to be published for public review & for Australians to understand why Government targets are so low compared to estimated local and overseas targets.

Absolutely- the "targets" are not appropriate to the function they are meant to fulfil. Lucky some premiers have said they will continue to do lockdowns when they think they are necessary

Looking at the outbreak in the Summer Hill nursing home you have to wonder if even 70-80% vaccinated is enough. 80% of residents vaccinated, 75% of staff vaccinated but 18 (out of 61) residents plus 2 staff have now tested positive.

Maintain the rational approach to what’s needed in the face of the politically driven crap from the federal government. As for the NSW government, they’re deluded with the belief vaccines can end the lockdown.
