2/3 I calculated we need 68%min & preferably 80% of total pop to be vaccinated. Grattan Institute recommends "fully vaccinating 80% of all Australians, & 95% of the over-70s", to "give us the best chance of gradually returning to normal life – with open borders & no lockdowns".

3/3 NZ is targeting 78% of total population and Singapore is targeting 75% of total population. National Cabinet modelling must to be published for public review & for Australians to understand why Government targets are so low compared to estimated local and overseas targets.

It keeps awake at night is that nobody has explained vaccine breakthrough to people. How many people will get vaccinated & then refuse to get a much needed booster in the future because the first one didn’t work, nobody explained what the vaccine does & why it isn’t foolproof

BREAKING - the German “ATAGI” raised the bars for herd immunity. 12-59 85% - 60+ 90% because of Delta. We need a REAL plan and confirmed deliveries and not horizons 👊👊👊

Yeah, once I read that the 70% and 80% was for 16+ and not total population I realised they were daydreaming. We have to do better. We have to do way better. Start by setting a target of 90% of 16+. Go from there.

This was taken into account by the Doherty Institute. They knew they were not including those under 16. In fact ... their modelling assumed 0% under 16 vaccinated. We will actually therefore be better placed than Doherty modelled for.

I'm absolutely horrified to hear people advocating mass injections of experimental vaccines with no long term safety studies but known short term risks that are the worst in all vaccine history.
