Herd immunity(HI) a big ask but we can do it. Countries targeting HI as % of total population= Israel 66%, Singapore 75%, NZ 78%, China 70-80%. We should target minimum 67% total pop, preferably 80% (for Delta). HI includes 12-18years & should target 100% vaccination of 60+years.

I hope that's whatever the target in whatever the 4 step plan is! How did you estimate ve for immunity?

I'd be careful with that graphic. @GregHuntMP might put a liberal party logo on it and flog it off as his.

Target of 80% of total population … Is 100% of adults. Ain’t going to happen. Rework your modelling.

If only we had vaccine availability
So much faith in you - thank you for all your work! 👏

The Fed Government has a no jab, no welfare money policy for all children - Perhaps similar could be justified for adult welfare/pension? Provided the preferred vaccine such as Pfizer is offered in accordance with health advice

The only way to get anywhere near 100 per cent of those aged 60 plus vaccinated is to open up options other than #AstraZeneca. Surely the most vulnerable should have access to the most efficacious, fastest acting vaccines with the fewest side effects?

And what practical sensible strategies do you recommend for living with the virus until this is achieved?? Snap lock downs especially #5 here in Victoria with no one in hospital is having a devastating effect on mental health. How many have died from COVID in the last 3 weeks?

Would it be feasible to coordinate vaccinations when we do our national census this August ? EVERY Australian home will be visited. Surely a modern country like Australia ,with records on each citizen, could at least give a first dose to anyone who has not yet received one
